Night Shift HR Generalist
**General Description**
The Night Shift HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior HR management in supporting a diverse set of client groups. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, employee engagement, benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and recruiting. This position will cover 2nd, or night shift, working 3pm-midnight Monday- Friday.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and other HR programs
* Conducts prompt and thorough employee investigations
* Conducts employee focus groups and makes recommendations to leadership based on feedback
* Prepares employee separation documentation and conducts exit interviews
* Intakes employee relations concerns and provides recommendations to management and HRBPs on corrective actions necessary
* Analyzes and administers HR data, reports on trends, and makes recommendations for improvements
* Ensures government regulations, policies, procedures, and practices are followed in the most effective manner
* Presents new employee onboarding and training
* Assist with recruiting and staffing support as needed
* Responds to internal inquires for general HR information
* Responds to external inquires, such as Texas Workforce commission
* Provides input on policy development and documentation
* Assist with special assignments and projects as they arise
* Other duties as assigned
